Merkanooka Haulage has an enviable track record when it comes to bulk haulage operations at mine sites. Operating at both iron ore and gold mines, we seamlessly transport ROM material from the pit to the processing facility using highly specialised equipment.
Our Komatsu WA600-6 loaders are renowned within the industry for their heavy-duty capability and stamina. We partner these loaders with Kenworth C509, C510 and T909 prime movers with Boomerang side tippers for ultimate efficiency on site. Because each mine has different requirements, our substantial fleet also includes side tippers in triple and quad configuration with a payload of up to 200 tonnes.
Our on-site team includes highly skilled supervisors, loaders and operators who get the job done right. Personnel also includes water cart and grader operators, who operate their machinery to the highest level to ensure the roads used by our heavy-duty trucks remain corrugation-free. All drivers have an MC licence, police clearance and have passed a commercial vehicle driver’s medical. Rest assured, Merkanooka is a responsible employer as well as a reputable service provider.
